Susan Wachter is Professor of Finance, the Albert Sussman Professor of Real Estate, Co-Director of Penn Institute for Urban Research, and Director, Warton Geographical Information Systems Lab at The Wharton School at University of Pennsylvania. Susan’s extensive career includes prior appointment at Bryn Mawr College, a visiting appointment at Singapore Management University, a member of Hoyt Institute faculty, and the Board of Editors of various journal publications, including Journal of Housing Economics, Housing Policy Debate, Journal of Real Estate and Finance, Journal of Real Estate Research, and Journal of Housing Research. Susan also serves on the Financial Research Advisory Committee, Office of Financial Research, US Department of Treasury. Susan received a PhD from Boston College and a BA from Harvard University.
