Robert Edelstein, PhD

Bob Edelstein is Professor Emeritus, Maurice Mann Chair in Real Estate at Haas School of Business at University of California at Berkeley and is the Co-Director of the Fisher Center for Real Estate and Urban Development at Berkeley Haas. Bob served as a consultant to the Philadelphia Finance Department, U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development, the Housing Development Corporation of New York City, the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia, the Federal Home Loan Bank of San Francisco, and the US Department of Energy. He is a past President of the American Real Estate and Urban Economics Association (AREUEA). In addition to Berkeley Haas, Bob held numerous academic appointments at Harvard University, University of California at Los Angeles, Wharton School, and University of Pennsylvania. Bob received a PhD, an AM, and an AB Magna Cum Laude with Highest Honors in Economics from Harvard University.
