Blake Eagle Center for Real Assets
at RPII Real Assets Education Foundation
Furthering best practices in institutional real assets research, investment management, and governance
An Initiative to Foster Best-in-Class Practices and Research in the Institutional Real Assets Sector
RPII Real Assets Education Foundation and its affiliated non-profit partners have been at the forefront of the institutionalization of the real estate asset class since the birth of the industry in the late 20th century. As real estate once stood at the forefront of institutional investment, real assets now follow a similar trajectory, gaining prominence as a critical asset class poised to shape the future of diversified investment strategies. The Blake Eagle Center for Real Assets is a new initiative that serves to foster an ongoing dialogue between institutional real assets investors and real assets investment managers as to evolving concepts on governance, transparency in performance reporting, and environmental sustainability. Much like the Center's namesake, RPII RAEF is committed to responding to requests for new research and thought leadership that define and advance the best interests of all real assets industry stakeholders and their beneficiaries.
What Does the Center Do?
The Center’s research forms the foundation for its educational programs, uniquely tailored to meet the demands of the institutional real assets sector. Unlike traditional university degree programs, the Center’s offerings are specifically designed to help professionals master the complexities of institutional real assets investment management, blending both the art and science of the field.
Building on the Foundation’s research in real assets, the Center leads in innovative thought leadership to promote best practices and improve decision-making in the institutional real assets sector. Additionally, the Center holds exclusive access to the papers of Blake Eagle — an invaluable collection that chronicles the origins of the institutional real estate profession and the pioneering investments made by institutional pension funds.
Throughout its history, the Foundation and its affiliated non-profit partners have collaborated with numerous trade associations, institutional investors, and real estate and real assets investment managers to advance initiatives and programming that benefit limited partner (LP) beneficiaries and the broader public. We welcome the opportunity to contribute to new projects and partnerships.
