Sharing Your Certification on Other Social Media Platforms (X, Facebook, Instagram, etc.)

If you have successfully obtained CRAA® certification and are an active certificant (i.e., up-to-date with all renewal requirements), you can highlight your certification on social media. Here’s how to do it appropriately:

  • Include Designation After Your Name:  On platforms like Facebook and Instagram, you may include "CRAA" after your name in your profile (e.g., “Nolan Noone, CRAA”).
  • Restrictions for X (formerly Twitter):  You may not include "CRAA" in your handle. For example, "@NolanNooneCRAA" would be improper. Your certification should only be listed immediately following your given name and surname in your profile description.
  • No Reference with Fictitious Names:  You may not reference your certification if you utilize a fictitious name or identity on social media.

Note:  Always ensure that your use of the CRAA® designation is accurate and reflects your current certification status. Misuse of the certification mark or incorrect representation can undermine the credibility of your achievement.
