Code and Principles of Professional Conduct

RPII is dedicated to fostering a fair and accountable real assets marketplace. Through the Code and Principles of Professional Conduct, we support CRAA® certificants in maintaining the highest standards of ethics, integrity, and professionalism.

Doing What Is Ethical and Right for the Built Environment

The Code and Principles of Professional Conduct ensure that the high ethical standards maintained by RPII are consistently applied by holders of the CRAA® designation.

RPII believes in the importance of promoting integrity within the real assets industry. CRAA® candidates and certificants are expected to:

  • Perform their responsibilities and duties with honesty and ethical conduct;
  • Address any actual or apparent conflicts of interest between personal and professional relationships in an ethical manner; and,
  • Actively promote and exemplify ethical behavior in both work and learning environments.

While the real assets industry is regulated by various legal constraints at national, state, and local levels, the Code and Principles serve as a reminder that these legal boundaries are complemented by the personal ethics of CRAA® candidates and certificants. Adhering to these ethical principles is crucial for maintaining professionalism within the global real assets industry.
